保加爾語 （英語：Bulgar language ）是中世紀 時期保加爾人 主要使用的語言。它屬於烏古爾-突厥語支 。
公元7世紀中葉，保加爾人 在伏爾加河至亞速海一帶建立了自己的國家，稱作「大保加利亞 」[2] [3] [4] 斯拉夫語族 保加利亞語 的影響，這種語言在多瑙河地區滅絕了。但是在伏爾加保加利亞 的地區的保加爾語保留了下來，最終進化為現在的楚瓦什語 [5] [6] [7]
