阿米塔·庫特納（英語：Amita Kuttner，1990年12月4日—）是一位於2021年-2022年擔任加拿大綠黨臨時黨魁的天體物理學家和政治家。庫特納曾於2019年加拿大聯邦大選中作為綠黨候選人參選，並於其後的2020年加拿大綠黨黨魁選舉（英語：2020 Green Party of Canada leadership election）中參選。庫特納是加拿大歷史上第一位領導聯邦政黨的跨性別東亞裔人士。

庫特納自認為一名非二元性別人士、跨性別人士和泛性戀，並在英語中使用「they/them」和「he/him」人稱。[2][3][4][5][6]

庫特納出生於北溫哥華[3]，母親伊莉莎·庫特納（婚前姓趙）移民自英屬香港，曾在卡普蘭諾學院（英語：Capilano University）教授電腦科學，[7][8]庫特納的父親則移民自英國。[8]庫特納的母親2005年因一場西摩爾山滑坡災害遇難[9][10]，父親麥可·庫特納雖生還但也身受重傷，並在之後向北溫哥華區政府提起對滑坡預防專案存在疏失的訴訟。[11][12]該事故發生時，庫特納在美國加州的寄宿學校讀書。[12][13]

庫特納也曾參加沉浸式法語課程。[12]

教育經歷和學術生涯[編輯]

庫特納畢業於聖克魯茲加利福尼亞大學並獲得天文學及天體物理學博士學位，師從安通尼·阿圭爾（英語：Anthony Aguirre），研究方向主要為早期宇宙的黑洞。[14][15][16]庫特納也曾參與該大學的女性物理學和天文學小組，並共同創辦了該大學的314行動（英語：314 Action）小組，以期在美國選舉更多科學界人士進入政界。[17]

庫特納曾與20名科學家一同簽署並在《科學》期刊上發表支援青少年氣候變化抗議者的公開信。信中表示「我們同意和支持他們對快速且有力的行動的要求」。[18]

庫特納亦共同建立了致力探索解決氣候變化危機的非營利組織「月光協會」。[19][20]2021年4月懷雅遜大學舉辦的「在2030年之前解決氣候問題」研討會上，庫特納作為與會者發言。[21]

政治生涯[編輯]

2019年加拿大聯邦大選中，庫特納以綠黨候選人的身分競選本那比北-西摩爾選區國會議員，[22][23]，獲得9.59%選票，票數位列[哪裡？]第四，得票率接近2015年加拿大聯邦大選同選區綠黨候選人的兩倍。[24]自2018年9月至2020年2月，庫特納擔任綠黨的科技及創新部影子內閣閣員。[25][12]

庫特納亦於2020年加拿大綠黨黨魁選舉（英語：2020 Green Party of Canada leadership election）參選。[1][26]在競選過程中，庫特納拒絕與綠黨前黨魁伊麗莎白·梅伊共同舉辦籌款活動，並表示對其籌款活動的幫助並不能解決這次選舉中系統性的不公平問題。[27]最終結果中庫特納排名第六，於第四輪以7.32%得票率被淘汰。庫特納於2021年向多倫多星報表示，已針對在競選時所遭受的恐跨和種族主義問題，包括線上上活動時所遭受到的語言攻擊，向黨聯邦理事會遞交投訴。[28]

在前任黨魁安娜米·保羅（英語：Annamie Paul）辭職之後，加拿大綠黨聯邦理事會於2021年11月24日提名庫特納作為臨時黨魁。[29][30]庫特納是加拿大史上第一個領導聯邦政黨的跨性別者和東亞裔人士，亦以30歲的年齡成為加拿大歷史上最年輕的聯邦政黨黨魁。[19]

獲選黨魁約一周後的記者會上，庫特納說希望能開始重新發展並恢復綠黨的活力。[5]綠黨發布的報告表示它面臨破產的威脅，並考慮關閉在渥太華的辦公室。[31]自2021年7月以來，綠黨失去了499個按月捐款的長期捐款者和6259名黨員。[31]庫特納同意關於安娜米·保羅是否應留任黨魁的內部衝突影響了捐款。[31]該報告也說明，安娜米·保羅離任黨魁的流程造成了高昂的法律費用。[31]2021年12月的一個採訪中，庫特納以大約一周前線上黨大會的籌款結果表示，綠黨的財政狀況「有所好轉」並逐漸「恢復正常」。[32]
