紫螺属（学名：Janthina）是紫螺科的属，本属原有多个亚属，这些属曾一度独立出来成为各自的属，但现时所有原被分类为紫螺属亚属的物种都被合并回紫螺属去[4][5][6]。
型态描述[编辑]
体长不超过40毫米[6][7]，最大的纪录是38.5毫米[8]。螺壳薄，色浅紫蓝[6][7]，近球状[4]。
栖息地[编辑]
本物种的栖所都不超过水深13米的海域[8]。
分布[编辑]
本物种为全浮游贝类，广泛分布于全世界暖海域[4][6][7]，包括韩国[3]、台湾[4][3][5][9][10][11][12]、中国大陆[4][13]、马来西亚[4][14]、印度尼西亚[15]、阿拉伯半岛东部[5][16]。
