低冠蜥属（Brachylophus），又名斐济鬣蜥属，是南太平洋斐济及汤加特有的一属蜥蜴。
分类[编辑]
低冠蜥属的冠很短，由冠沿背部长满棘。牠们与世界上其他的美洲鬣蜥科分隔开来。相信牠们是演化自于1300万年前由南美洲跨越太平洋到来的绿鬣蜥。[1]现存的物种如下：
- Brachylophus bulabula Fisher, Harlow, Edwards & Keogh, 2008：于斐济中部发现，经基因及形态分析后确定是新的物种。[2]
- 斐济带纹鬣蜥 Brachylophus fasciatus (Brongniart, 1800)
- Brachylophus gau Fisher, Niukula, Watling & Harlow, 2017[3]
- 斐济冠状鬣蜥 Brachylophus vitiensis Gibbons, 1981
另外，在汤加的利夫卡岛及汤加塔布市发现了一种史前但已灭绝的巨型低冠蜥属，其体型有如岩鬣蜥属，估计是被人类及所驯养的动物迫害而消失。[4]
