波江座λ型变星
波江座λ型变星是Be星的一类，它的光度振幅很微小，只有百分之几的星等。它的变化非常规律，周期在0.5至2.0天之间，最初被描述为周期性的Be星[1]。波江座λ是此类变星的原形，也是范例。变化归因于非径向脉动，是不均匀的旋转盘或恒星本身的旋转[2][3]。
这种恒星不是很少被分类就是分类不正确。变星总表中还未分类出波江座λ型变星，只有仙后座γ型变星是GCAS和Be星是非GCAS。波江座λ本身也被错误的列为仙王座β型变星[4]。美国变星观测者协会（AAVSO）定义了波江座λ型变星：LERI（Lambda Eridani variable）。包括波江座λ在内，16颗是波江座λ型变星，5颗疑似，13颗与其它类型变星结合在一起[5]。
