艾利瓦加爾河道

艾利瓦加爾河道(Elivagar Flumina)是由土衛六門爾瓦撞擊坑[1]周邊區域一系列長度在23公里到210公里不等的河道構成的河網[2],其流域範圍至少有120公里寬,並顯示出侵蝕跡象,在河口處存在沖積扇[3]。艾利瓦加爾河道被解釋為沖積河流,因為它靠近河谷,並從雷達後向散射中得到體現[4]。土衛六門爾瓦撞擊坑地區的地貌測繪提供了外生作用證據,如流體的沖刷蝕刻(換言之,山洪暴發),這被認為是形成河道網的主要原因[1][5]

艾利瓦加爾河道取名自以北歐神話中的一組有毒的冰河艾利瓦加爾[6]
