約翰·甘迺迪國際機場六號客運大樓
Sundrome，即後來的環航國內綫客運大樓和六號客運大樓，是約翰·甘迺迪國際機場的一座客運大樓。該建築由貝聿銘合夥公司（今貝聿銘·科布·弗里德合夥公司）設計。1969年啟用，原為國家航空之專用客運大樓。環球航空（國內航班）、泛美世界航空、聯合航空公司（經營往返三藩市和洛杉磯之跨大陸航班）、ATA航空、泛美航空（1996-1998年）、嘉年華航空、先鋒航空和美西航空等航司亦曾使用該客運大樓。捷藍航空自1998年開航後即以此為營運基地。在該航司於2008年10月22日移師五號客運大樓後，T6旋即被棄用，最終於2011年清拆。

貝聿銘在設計該客運大樓時採用了全玻璃中梃，為前所未聞[1]。
歷史[編輯]
在建造Sundrome之前，國家航空公司在T7和T6的最終定址之間以一個彩鋼板小屋作為客運大樓，從1948年開始，當時該航司首航艾德懷爾德機場的消息為世人所知。由此國家航空委託建造Sundrome，項目於1969年11月30日開放[2]。國家航空在1980年被泛美航空吞併前一直在此營運。
環球航空隨後入主此地，並將該客運大樓易名「環航子航站」，後又更名為環航國內綫客運大樓，最後更名為六號客運大樓[3]。最終該客運大樓通過一條滑坡膠合板行人路連接到環航飛行中心（後稱環航國際客運大樓，其後改稱五號客運大樓；現部分結構改建為TWA飯店[4]）。該行人路後被客運大樓集散公路截斷[5]。後來，在環球航空削減航班量後，該客運大樓先後被聯合航空、ATA航空、泛美航空（1996年-1998年）、嘉年華航空、先鋒航空和美西航空使用。2001年，聯航計劃將該客運大樓和環航飛行中心改建為該航司的新營運基地[6]。
2010年4月29日，紐約與新澤西港務局宣佈將拆除T6，以便捷藍航空擴建T5[7]。儘管保護主義者竭盡全力以保留客運大樓[8]，但拆除工作仍按期於2011年10月結束[9][10]。遺址隨後被用於擴建T5，並新建了國際綫設施[11]。
