- 大西洋熱脫硫桿菌 Thermodesulfatator atlanticus Alain et al., 2010
- 自養熱脫硫桿菌 Thermodesulfatator autotrophicus Lai et al., 2016，分離自印度洋深海通風煙囪壁上硫化物。[2]
- 印度熱脫硫桿菌 Thermodesulfatator indicus Moussard et al., 2004
