安德烈·岡德·法蘭克（英語：Andre Gunder Frank；1929年2月24日—2005年4月25日），是美國德裔社會學家和經濟史學家。1970年，法蘭克主張相互依賴理論。1984年後，法蘭克提出世界體系理論。
生平[編輯]
法蘭克，出生在德國的猶太家庭。[1] 父母是和平主義作家萊昂哈德·法蘭克（Leonhard Frank），和他的第二任妻子埃琳娜·馬克恩·彭斯維爾（Elena Maqenne Penswehr）。納粹上台時，法蘭克全家逃離德國，前往瑞士。1941年，法蘭克全家又移民美國。1950年，法蘭克自斯沃斯莫爾學院取得經濟學學士。 [2] 1957年，在芝加哥大學獲得經濟學博士。法蘭克的博士論文是針對蘇聯的農業，題為〈烏克蘭農業的增長和生產力：1928-1955〉。諷刺的是，其論文導師是自由市場支持者米爾頓·弗里德曼（Milton Friedman）。
1950年代至1960年代初期，法蘭克在美國大學任教。 1962年，移居拉丁美洲。在此期間，法蘭克在智利大學擔任社會學和經濟學教授，參與薩爾瓦多·阿連德的社會主義改革。1973年，阿連德政府遭政變推翻後，法蘭克逃往歐洲。1981年到1994年退休為止，法蘭克一直擔任阿姆斯特丹大學發展經濟學教授。
法蘭克與傅恩蒂絲（Marta Fuentes）結婚，育有兩子。夫婦共同撰寫幾篇關於社會運動的研究。1993年6月，其妻傅恩蒂絲於阿姆斯特丹去世。第二任妻子是社會學家Nancy Howell：與她結婚時，他們住在多倫多。2005年，法蘭克在他第三任妻子艾莉森的照顧下死於癌症。
作品與理論[編輯]
法蘭克的研究領域涉及人類學、經濟學、地理學、歷史學、國際關係、政治學和社會學等。法蘭克撰寫了大量研究關於世界體系、發達國家，尤其是第三世界和拉丁美洲的經濟、社會和政治歷史和當代發展。法蘭克雖使用馬克思主義的理論，但未接受馬克思的歷史階段論。
1990年代，法蘭克研究重心是世界歷史。受自己在里加斯德哥爾摩經濟學院（SSE Riga）的演講啟發，他重新開始分析千禧年的全球政治經濟。2006年，在弗里德里希·艾伯特基金會的支持下，里加斯德哥爾摩經濟學院收到了法蘭克的個人藏書，並以他的名義設立了「安德烈·岡德·法蘭克紀念圖書館」。
法蘭克最著名的作品，是1967年的《拉丁美洲資本主義與經濟落後》(Capitalism and Underdevelopment in Latin America)，是形成相互依賴理論的作品之一。
晚年，他重要作品有《白銀資本︰重視經濟全球化中的東方》(ReOrient: Global Economy in the Asian Age)，及與 巴里·吉爾斯（Barry Gills）合著的《世界體系：五百年或五千年》(The World System: Five Hundred Years or Five Thousand)。法蘭克的理論集中在這樣一種地理決定論上：一國的經濟實力取決於歷史環境——尤其是地理因素——決定了它的全球實力。法蘭克認為純粹以出口為導向的發展解決方案實不利窮國。法蘭克的另一項學術成就在世界體系理論。他認為世界體系的形成不遲於公元前4000年；他的論點相左於沃勒斯坦等認為起源於「漫長的 16 世紀」的想法。法蘭克為，「數個」世界系統的想法沒有多大意義，如果世界上有許多「世界系統」，那麼那些「世界系統」根本不配被稱為「世界系統」，應該只談論一個單一的世界體系。
