遗体告别仪式

遗体告别仪式又称遗体告别、瞻仰遗容，是指人去世后，遗体在殡仪馆的大厅内短暂展示，死者的家人和朋友可以在展示期间观摩遗体。随后遗体就要下葬或者火化 ^[1] 。为确保尸体在展示时保持良好形象，遗体在展示前一般会被防腐处理。 ^[2] 有时遗体告别仪式会在住宅以及宗教场所（教堂）举行。 ^[3]
