香港大學校歌

香港大學校歌（英語：University Anthem）實際上也是一首讚美詩歌，全曲一共分為四段，於1912年3月11日大學及本部大樓開幕典禮時首演。

歷史[编辑]

該校歌由當時的聖約翰座堂管風琴師典曼·傅勒（Denman Fuller）作曲，署任輔政司的前港督金文泰爵士以拉丁文填詞而成。港大校歌於1912年3月11日本部大樓開幕典禮，由聖約翰座堂合唱團與其他合唱團進行首演^[1]。直至20世紀30年代，大學的正式場合均沿用此校歌。但戰後被淡忘，存放於大學檔案處的校歌樂譜。^[2]^[3]^[4]

2011年，原版校歌由香港大學音樂系主任陳慶恩博士從原創部分重新編曲，在港大百周年校慶晚宴上經重新編曲後首度重演^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]。

2014年2月7日，《港大禮讚》音樂會由香港大學學院藝術家、香港小交響樂團藝術總監葉詠詩重新譜曲，並在葉詠詩指揮下，於香港大學百週年校區李兆基會議中心大會堂內，聯同香港小交響樂團、拔萃男書院合唱團、拔萃女書院合唱團及香港大學學生會合唱團演出。^[2]^[3]^[4]

金文泰爵士是拉丁文詩歌的作者。他於1925年至1947年擔任香港大學校長。^[4]
