English: Ozaki not only supported his theories with data garnered from historical records, but also sought concrete "material evidence" to back his hypotheses. As a "Sukuma Foundation Aboriginal Artifacts Collection Project" committee member, he traveled throughout Taiwan in search of aboriginal artifacts in 1927 to 1929. It should be not difficult to see how the items Ozaki gathered were instrumental in constructing and corroborating his theories of a golden age of civilization in ancient Taiwan.
