English: Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) taken from Gran Canaria, Spain. 2023-01-22 ~03:30 UTC. NEQ6 + RASA8 + ASI2600MM (no filters). 1 exposure, 30s. SQM 21.5, 7°C, 80% RH. Just histogram applied, no darks/flats/etc.
There are three tails visible: the big dust one, heading up right; the ion one with the same direction but more thin; and the antitail, down. The comet wasn't visible at naked eye and could only be distinguished visually through binoculars. It was a surprise to catch an antitail, since pictures from previous days didn't show it (at least not that clearly). |
